Tasty Tuesday

Tasty Tuesdays gives children the opportunity to explore new fruits and vegetables, learn to enjoy healthy foods, and develop lifelong healthy habits. Each week, we introduce a fruit or vegetable that may be unfamiliar, or something not typically considered a “kid food.” This year, our menu will feature both fruits and vegetables, keeping things fun, fresh, and nutritious.

How We Handle Tasting:

  • Children are never forced to taste anything.

  • They are encouraged to try at their own pace.

  • We celebrate small steps, like touching, smelling, or looking at new foods.

  • Children can choose to taste again another time if they’re not ready today.

  • We model positive attitudes toward healthy foods to make tasting fun and stress-free.
