Meet Our Team
We have an extraordinary staff here at TBTST. Some started off as parents and others are graduated students who returned to our school years later as staff members. We are one big family & pride ourselves in providing our students with a nurturing, loving “home away from home” school environment.
Welcome to our TBTST family! Please allow me to introduce myself: I’m Ronit Goldstein, the Director of the ECC program here at Temple Beth Torah Sha’aray Tzedek. I attained my Bachelor of Arts degree in Education for the Hearing Impaired and a Teacher’s Certificate in Teaching Specialized Education in Secondary Schools from Tel-Aviv University. I continued my educational path to receive Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Concordia University. Over the years I worked with children at all ages from Pre-School all the way to High School. I worked in the field of early childhood education for more than a decade as a VPK teacher. I also taught different age groups at our Religious School and served as the Religious School Director for several years. Being able to make a difference in a child’s life is the most rewarding feeling.
My name is Sara Rodriguez and I was born in Ecuador. I moved to the U.S.A. fifteen years ago. I have two teenager children. My younger child attended TBTST Early Childhood and when he graduated, I began working at the school. This is my sixth year working in the infant room as a lead teacher and I love every moment of it. I have a bachelor’s degree in administration and a CDA certification working with children infant to five years old.
My name is Lucy Calderon and I was born and raised in New York City. I have been teaching preschool for a decade as an Infant, and Toddler teacher. I currently have my Child Development Associates (CDA). I am currently working as an Teacher Assistant in the Toddler's room and I love every moment of it. I always enjoyed helping others learn and grow.
My name is Tami Kraut, and I am the lead teacher in the toddler class. I was a stay at home mom for many years and then started my career at TBTST in 2010. I am originally from Brooklyn, NY and have been living in Florida for over 25 years. I have three kids myself; 25-year-old twins and a 20-year-old. My children graduated the program here at TBTST! It is amazing to get to work at the same school that helped to shape my children. I have always had a passion for working with babies and children and I’m so happy to get to come to work every day to do just that. My main goals are to love and nurture each child and to ensure that they are prepared for the next class when it is their time to move up!
My name is Tatiana García, and I was born and raised in Colombia. I have been working @ TBTST since 2014 and recently completed my CDA. I am currently working as an assistant teacher in the toddler’s room. I love working with young children. I enjoy interacting with them and watching them grow. My daughter attends the school and, knowing the love and attention she receives, I know she is in good hands.
My name is Sharon Dean and I have had the privilege of being a part of the TBTST
family & working with the Twos for almost two decades & have my CDA. I love working with this age group & watching them develop from little toddlers into big boys and girls before they move up to the Threes. It is such an amazing mental leap for the children & watching them blossom is beautiful. I am the mother of a college aged son who got his educational start here at TBTST. I love kids and look forward to continuing to have a positive impact on the children’s growth and to new discoveries.
My name us Lesley Thompson and I have been married for 30 years and have two children. A daughter who is 20 years old and goes to UCF in Orlando and a son who is 12 and graduated TBTST. For my education I have my (CDA) Child Development Associates, National CDA, and Director's Credential. The number one reason I work with children is the expression on their face when they learned something new. It is the best feeling in the world and gives me so much joy.
My name is Ashley Cinelli & I began working at TBTST ECC in 2015.Currently I have my Florida Child Care Staff Credential. I was previously the assistant to the toddler’s room for 3.5 years. In the coming spring, I will graduate with my AA in Early Child Education & Continue for my BA. I am so excited for this school year & cannot wait to see how your children have blossomed from the toddlers I knew into the big three’s they have become.
